Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
DAPA Digital respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
Who we are
DAPA Digital provides website, web application and digital product design and development services.
For privacy enquiries, contact: hello@dapadigital.co.uk
Information we collect
When you submit a project enquiry through this website, we may collect:
- your name
- your email address
- your company name, if provided
- the type of project you are interested in
- your indicative budget, if provided
- any information you include in your project description
We may also receive information you choose to provide to us by email.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry
- understand your project requirements
- prepare proposals or estimates
- communicate with you about potential or ongoing work
- maintain appropriate business records
We do not sell your personal information.
Lawful basis
We process enquiry information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and, where appropriate, for our legitimate interests in responding to prospective customers and operating our business.
Who processes your information
Website enquiry submissions are processed using Netlify Forms.
Email communications are handled using Google Workspace.
Website usage analytics are processed using Google Analytics 4, and only where you have accepted analytics cookies.
These service providers may process information on our behalf in accordance with their own data protection commitments and applicable data protection law.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, manage any resulting business relationship, meet legal or accounting obligations, or resolve disputes.
Enquiries that do not lead to ongoing work may be deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability.
You can make a privacy request by emailing: hello@dapadigital.co.uk
You also have the right to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
International processing
Some technology providers we use may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are used where required by applicable data protection law.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and whether a project enquiry was completed. We use this to improve the site. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing, or Google Signals, and we do not use analytics to build advertising profiles.
Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies unless you accept it. When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Until you accept, no Google Analytics script is downloaded and no analytics request is sent. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation remain switched off at all times, whatever you choose.
If you accept analytics, the following may be processed:
- a randomly generated identifier stored in cookies named _ga and _ga_… , used to recognise a returning browser
- pages viewed on this site, and the address of the page that referred you
- approximate location derived from your IP address, such as country or region
- general device and browser information, such as screen size and browser type
- the fact that a project enquiry was submitted successfully
We never send your name, email address, company name, budget, or anything you write in the project description to Google Analytics. When an enquiry is sent successfully we record only that a submission happened, with no field values attached.
Where analytics cookies are used, we rely on your consent as the lawful basis. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent stops further collection and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. It cannot undo processing that already took place while consent was active.
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, who act as our analytics provider and process this information on our behalf. Information collected through it may be processed outside the United Kingdom, subject to the safeguards described under “International processing” above.
Your choice itself is recorded in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, under the key dapa.consent.analytics. It stores only the choice you made, the date you made it, and a version number — nothing that identifies you. This storage is strictly necessary to honour your decision and is therefore not covered by the banner. Clearing your browsing data removes it, and the banner will ask again.
A recorded choice lasts six months. After that the banner asks again, whether you previously accepted or rejected, so a decision made once is never treated as permanent. We also ask again if we materially change what analytics is used for.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
